Privacy policy
Updated September 30, 2026
In short: this website collects no personal information. Its own code sets no cookies and runs no analytics, and it has no forms or accounts. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, and the places our links lead to, such as Amazon, Telegram, X and Bluesky, have their own privacy practices. The details are below.
What this website collects
Deals Lantern (dealslantern.com) is a small static site. This website's own code sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and it loads no fonts, scripts, or images from other companies. Our host, Cloudflare, may set a strictly necessary security cookie (for example, if it shows a bot check) and keeps aggregate traffic statistics. It uses no advertising, and it has no forms and no accounts.
This website collects no personal information. If you message us on a channel, we see what that platform shows us, such as your username and your message.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, which delivers the pages to you. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process technical data such as your IP address and browser type in standard server logs and for security. Read Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles that data.
Links to other sites
Links from this site and from our channels go to third parties, including Amazon (amazon.com), Telegram, X, and Bluesky. Each has its own privacy practices.
When you click an Amazon link that carries our tracking ID, Amazon may set cookies on your browser. Once our Amazon Associates application is approved, Amazon's reports will show us which items were bought through our links, so we can be credited. Those reports do not identify you: we do not receive your name, address, payment details, or account information.
Read Amazon's privacy notice for what it does with your data. For how affiliate links work, see our affiliate disclosure.
Our channels and messages
We post on Telegram, Deals Lantern on X, and Bluesky. If you message us on X or Bluesky, the platform handles that message under its own policy. We may keep the message only as long as needed to reply or fix a problem.
How we use numbers about our posts
We may count how many times our own posts were viewed or clicked, using the tools the platforms and Amazon provide (Amazon's reports only once we are approved). These counts are in aggregate. We do not build profiles of individuals, and we do not sell or share personal information.
Children
Deals Lantern is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

People in some places, for example California or the EU, have legal rights over their personal information. We will respond to requests to access or delete your information.
Changes to this policy
If we later add analytics or any tracking to this site, we will update this page first and say what changed. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
